I do not do many abstracts. But I enjoy the results when I do. Several of my friends and I took a one day class from Sue Allen at the Florida Watercolor Convention. So I came home and painted two paintings. It is mostly done in watercolor and painted tissue paper and rice paper attached. Most of the white is the white of the paper, but some white gouache was added too.

ReplyDeleteHot! And the little touch of blue makes it hotter! I like the way you added some darker reds so that it is not a solid mass of red or orange. Nice variety in the hot area.
