Bowditch Beach

This painting was started at one of the last FMBAA paintouts at Bowditch.  In the shade of a bush at the end of a path, I took my time painting the beachgrass.  When I got home I added a couple of figures.  I have been checking it out since May.  I bought myself two watercolor books for my birthday.  They are both about putting people in paintings.  So today I did just that.

Watercolor  Framed  28X22

  1. You really did yourself proud on this one. I love the clouds and also the way you handled the beach. I think Florida beaches are hard to paint because the sand is white. And the figures really set it off! It is a great painting!
