Sanibel Lighthouse View

I am pleased the way this painting came out.  But oils are so messy.  I should have started it in acrylics and finished it in oils.  Or started it in oil with lots of turpentine and let it completely dry before I worked on it again.  I use to take oil lessons from Tony Estrella when I was about thirty.  He is a paralytic.  His brother pushed him out of a tree when he was a boy.  He is the best artist.  That is how he would have us paint.
