Watercolor Class

This is what my watercolor students painted today. I am so excited that they are doing so well. 

Paste Paper

Today I took a break from my watercolor painting and played with Paste Paper. You apply a coat of a mixture of glue and acrylic paint on a sheet of paper.  Then draw designs with scraping tools. It was a wonderful sunny day. The trees were covered with snow. Outside on the top of a big pat were at least fifty black birds staring at me through my big windows.

Cityscape

My daughter bought me a beautiful long thin frame. I painted “Cityscape” to fit in it.

I have been teaching a watercolor class to real beginners. I give a watercolor demo once a week.

This is my completed painting.  I finished it in one hour.

Three Pelicans and Palm Tree

Painted with acrylic on plywood, this is a commission.  He is going to attach it to a piece of furniture.  He requested a painting with pelicans and palm trees.
