Time Out

Plein Air painting at Times Square.  It is named Time Square for the clock.  I usually paint the clock but this time I painted the restaurant Time Out.

This is another painting painted out with the group.  Heavenly Biscuit is a popular breakfast restaurant.

Mound House with Visitors

This painting was painted during our Wednesday paintout.  I was not happy with it.  It was just too green.  So I put it in the tub and soaked it in water.  That way I could scrub out the green.  Then I cropped it to make a smaller painting.  Looks good.

Dolphins

Next week is our Art Devine.  I can summit to sell six framed paintings and six matted paintings.  The price must be $150 or under.  They are all ready.  This is one.

World of Fashion

This is the second painting I painted since the last posting.  The first one was a failure.  I put it away until I get out my gesso to paint over it.  This painting is fun and is a success.  It was designed for the Big Arts show, "World of Fashion"  Do you recognize anybody?

This was painted from a photo I took when I was at one of the beaches near Saint Luis Obispo.

Sunflower

I enjoyed painted the Zinnia so much, I painted another flower.  I used some sea salt in the center and some Saran wrap on the background just for more fun.
