Boys at Play

This is a redo.  I changed the color of the water and sand to a pinky beige.  Just being creative with color.

Roses in Blue Vase

This was just for fun.  Roses are tricky to paint.  You want all those layers of petals but not too detailed.  I painted it with a brush but maybe I will do it over and use a knife.

I went to Steve Roger's demo and came home and painted this.

MEG Foundation

The MEG Foundation is restoring the Cliftondale School in Saugus.  I painted two batik paintings that I donated to their fund raising event.  They are selling tickets for the paintings that will be raffled off next week.

Peony

I have been painting Batiks to get ready for a demonstration for the Sanibel Captiva Art League.  I am going to show my batiks in different steps of completion.

Sail Down

This was painted in Steve Rogers' Workshop.  Steve paints leaving lots of white.  He uses a big brush and thick paint.

This is a sneak preview of the painting for Winter Juried Show in January 2013 at the Fort Myers Beach Art Association.  Painted from a photo taken on my trip to San Lois Obispo.  It is framed and ready to go.
